Obituary of Evelyn Streiff

Evelyn passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025 at the age of 98.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy (Dick) DeYaeger and Lynda Streiff; grandson, Jack (Lauren) DeYaeger and nephew, David Streiff.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Evelyn's caregivers, with special appreciation to Khadijah, for the exceptional care and companionship they provided.

Evelyn will be remembered for her feisty spirit, timeless sense of style and love of life. She was an avid reader, enjoyed many lively games of bridge and euchre with friends, along with some good red wine.

She was a lifelong resident of the Rochester area. Evelyn spent many years volunteering at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House.

There will be a gathering on December 1, 2025 from 4-6PM to share memories of Evelyn at the Episcopal Senior Life - Valley Manor, 1570 East Ave, Rochester, NY 14610.
