Obituary of Julia S. Kazak

Julia S. Kazak passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025 at the age of 96. 

She is predeceased by her husband, John and loving brother and sisters.

Julia is survived by children, Stephen, Diane (Raymond Chavez). Beloved grandchildren Malinda Caron (Eric), Zack Siembor (Becky) and Zeke Siembor (Stacey). She is also survived by great grandchildren, Max Caron, Marley Siembor, Arabella Caron, Josslyn Siembor, Myles Caron, Sawyer Caron, Camden Siembor, Easton Siembor and Parker Siembor. 

Julia lived a full and joyful life. She began her career at the age of 17 with the Rochester Telephone Company. She trained many people on how to use a dial phone. Julia was the lead vocalist with the band The Top Hatters and was known as Julie Girard along side her future husband and drummer, John Kazak. 

Julia raised her family and went back to work at Rochetser Telephone in the credit department. She finished her career with Steven Walther Realty. 

Julia volunteered at the information desk at Rochester General for many years. 

She enjoyed time spent in Philedelphia, New York with her family at their summer cottage.

A funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10:00am at Harris Funeral Home located at 570 Kings Highway South.

Burial will immediatley follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
