Obituary of Margaret "Sis" Brooker Passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 98 years. Predeceased by parents, Jessie and Thomas Garrison; adoptive parents, Evelyn and Alexander Garrison; husband of 54 years, James W. Brooker, Jr.; brother, Walter "Buddy" Garrison; and granddaughter, Sarah LaManna. Survived by her sons, James G. (Roxanne) Brooker, Robert G. (Heidi) Brooker; twin grandsons, Alex and Will Brooker; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Margaret served proudly as a registered nurse, but her true calling was as an amazing mother, grandmother, homemaker, and tireless advocate for her family. As a strong believer in the value of education, Margaret was an avid reader and lifelong learner.

Her family will receive friends Friday, December 5, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy South), where her Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers, donations may be directed to American Heart Association, Camp Good Days, or a charity of one's choice in Margaret’s memory.
