Obituary of Jeff Wright Love

Jeff Wright Love Woodstock, Georgia | Formerly of Coffeeville, Mississippi

Jeff Wright Love, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on December 19, 2025, in Rochester. NY. Born and raised in Coffeeville, Mississippi, Jeff lived a life marked by dedication, intellectual curiosity, hard work, and deep love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Love and Nora Lee Wright Love; and his beloved siblings, Peggy Bruce, Billye Hise, June Jung, Tom “Buddy” Love, and Bonnie Peterson.

Jeff is survived by his daughters, Noralee (Brian) McCullough and Carrie (Matt) Morris; their mother, Judy; and his treasured grandchildren, Aiden, Mason, Autumn, Andrew, Abigail, and Delilah, who were the great joy of his later years. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss him dearly.

Jeff graduated from Coffeeville High School on May 13, 1960, before continuing his education at Northwest Mississippi Junior College, earning an Associate of Business degree in 1962. He went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Business from THE Mississippi State University in 1965. Shortly thereafter, he proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1966 to 1972.

Jeff dedicated 29 years of his professional life to Sandoz/Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where he built a distinguished career in pharmaceutical sales, sales management, and government affairs. His work took him across the country and abroad, including roles in Hanover, New Jersey; Thailand; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Roswell, Georgia. Throughout his career, he earned numerous awards and professional accreditations, but most meaningful to him were the lifelong friendships he formed along the way.

A natural storyteller, Jeff had a deep love for his Christian faith, history and politics and was known for his keen interest in current events. In retirement, he found great satisfaction working on his farm, proudly referred to as Checkers Hill Farm, in Woodstock, Georgia, where he poured his energy into countless projects, taking pride in developing and improving his property. He loved football, but most of all, he had a deep and enduring passion for the SEC and his Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The greatest highlight of the last 21 years of Jeff’s life was being a grandfather. His happiest days were spent palling around with his grandsons and trying to keep up with his granddaughters, whom he adored beyond measure.

Above all else, Jeff loved his family. His four sisters and brother were not only siblings, but his closest friends, and family remained the constant center of his life. He will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, humor, and the enduring love he shared so freely.

Jeff Wright Love leaves behind a legacy of devotion, resilience, and family—a life well lived and deeply cherished.

Jeff’s Graveside Service will be held at Clarkson Cemetery, Fame, Webster County, Mississippi spring of 2026 at a date and time to be announced.
