So sorry to know this. I had the pleasure of playing in Patti's backup band in Boston back in 1975. She was a terrific singer and solid performer, and simply a lovely person, sweet and genuine, and she had quite a crew of fans who turned out at the Harbor House in Revere to hear here on a steady basis. I did get to talk with here a couple of years ago, and her spirit was sound, it was great to hear her voice again. I have wonderful memories of those days and am sad to know she is gone.

So sorry to hear of Patti's passing, She was larger than life. Years ago at a WW2 anniversary USO show, while a band was playing 1940s songs, she stepped out of the audience, and joined in, perfectly syncing in with the band, as if she'd been playing with them for years.

Some of my fondest memories are of Patti and her family on Lafayette Road during Patti and my highschool years. From 12 to 18 yrs old we were close friends and kept in touch all while she was on the road and she would call me long distance to see if I wanted various singing jobs she had to refuse because she was already booked. I loved her. She was a great friend and her whole family was and is still wonderful and we love them too. May God please rest her absolutely beautiful soul.and may the rest of her loved ones try to find some peace at what must be a very sad time. God Bless the Cassara's.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Patti and shared the stage with Her back in the mid 70s with a band called the Roman Empire. She was such a outstanding singer, entertainer, and outstanding dancer. She is Home with our Lord Jesus Christ and no more pain or suffering. My condolences to her brothers Mark and Gary and Her Husband.
