For 54 years, Anna was the devoted wife and partner of Wasyl “Bill” Kornylo, with whom she built a life grounded in love, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Together they raised two daughters who were the joy of her life: Krista Duong (husband Duy) and their son Konstantin, and Tonya Fabrizio (husband Matthew) and their daughters Milena and Valentina. Anna’s family was her heart, and she embraced her role as mother and grandmother with boundless pride and tenderness.
She is also survived by her sister Nadia Browne and her family; sister in law Diana Fox Schimko, her brother‑in‑law John Kornylo; and her cherished first cousins Mary Bodyk, Ann Bodyk, and Hanelore Stewart. Anna’s circle extended far beyond relatives, she leaves behind many close friends and acquaintances who were touched by her warmth, humor, and generous spirit.

She taught English at Hilton High School, where she inspired countless students with her intellect, empathy, and high expectations. After her medical retirement, she continued serving the community as an interpreter for several local school districts, ensuring families felt seen, heard, and supported.
Anna was deeply committed to her Ukrainian heritage and international friendship. As President of the Irondequoit International Sister Cities – Poltava, Ukraine, she worked tirelessly to build bridges of understanding, cultural exchange, and goodwill. Her leadership reflected her belief in the power of community and the importance of global connection.
