Obituary of Robert W. Peterson

Sailor, Retired Penfield Science Teacher. 
Died on December 31, 2025. 
Predeceased by brother, Ronald J. Peterson, DDS, parents John and Frances (Dombrowski) Peterson. 
Survived by partner, Mary Ellen Derry; Sister-in-law, Cordelia (Mrs. Ronald); Nephews: David J. of Melrose, MA.; John R, DDS (Retired) (Debbie) of Henderson Harbor; Ronald W. (Buffy) of Henderson Harbor; Grand-nieces and nephews; and soon, a great-grand nephew; Sailing and canoe buddies and many dear friends. 
Bob and M.E. loved their adventures to Europe, the Canadian Arctic, Greenland and Antarctica. They enjoyed sailing on Loon Song on Lake Ontario and the Thousand Islands, and spending time in Gananoque, Ont., Endymion Island, Ont, and on Eagle Island, Sodus Bay. They chartered and took diving trips in the Caribbean and Manatoulin and Mexico. They often explored the coast of Maine. Bob loved his time in Algonquin, canoeing.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, May 2nd from 1-4PM at the Harris Family Center, 560 Kings Hwy. S., Rochester, NY 14617
