Rochester – On January 9, 2026 at age 89. He is predeceased by his parents, Hanna and Martha Makmoura; siblings, Azra Makmoura and Helen Oraha. Ezaria is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lois Makmoura; children, Mariann (David) Myott and Mark Makmoura; grandchildren, Michael Jaramillo, Hannah Myott, Sloane Myott and Jeremiah Starks; great-granddaughter, Niayelli Starks; brother, Edward Makmoura and Wilson Makmoura; brothers-in-law, John (Pattie) Spring, Donald (Kathy) Spring and Robert Spring; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Robert) Hess; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home (570 Kings Hwy. So.) Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4-7 PM with a Panachyda Service at 6:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, 10 AM a St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 940 Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14621. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to Tunnels to Towers, Shriner’s Children's Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Ezaria’s memory.
