Obituary of Cynthia L. Boberskyj

Cynthia L. Boberskyj (LeBlanc)

Greece – Formerly of Hilton, on January 30, 2026 at age 65 after a lengthy illness. She is predeceased by her parents, Mervin and Frances LeBlanc; brother, Lawrence LeBlanc; brothers-in-law, Francois Karkos and Martin Devoursney; many aunts, uncles and cousins of Louisiana and New York. Cynthia is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jaroslaw “Jerry” Boberskyj; children, Nicolas (Angela Tantalo) Boberskyj and Kristina (Jose Perez) Boberskyj; granddaughters, Yvette Mariah Boberskyj and Josie Oksana Perez; siblings, James (Lu) LeBlanc and Karen (Scott) Frearson; sisters-in-law, Oksana Devoursney, Laurie LeBlanc and Jacqueline Karkos; brother-in-law, Walter (Joyce) Karkos; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Cynthia enjoyed hosting family get-togethers, sewing, making soap and her beloved pets, Tasha, Mia and Rooney.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at The Pearl Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

No prior calling. Cynthia’s Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Josaphat’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to American Cancer Society or Lollypop Farm in Cynthia’s memory.
