Obituary of Richard Vincent Trocano
Richard Vincent Trocano
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Richard Vincent Trocano who left us on February 4th at the age of 77.
Rick was born on July 10, 1948 in Rochester where he built a life centered on family, hard work, and the people he loved most. He was known for his kindness, humor, strength, generosity, creativity, craftsmanship and strong will. He touched the lives of many. He was a life-long fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Notre Dame Fightin' Irish.
Above all, Rick was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend, who cherished time with his family. He leaves behind Anne, his loving wife of 55 years; son, Christopher (Billy Hibbert); daughter, Stephanie; brother, Dennis (Lorraine); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends and neighbors who will carry forward his love, lessons, and memories. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Zizzo Trocano.
Though our hearts are broken, we are so grateful for the years that we shared and the countless memories that will continue to live on. Rick will be deeply missed and forever remembered and loved.
No prior calling. Family and friends are invited to Rick’s Funeral Mass Thursday, February 12, 2026, 10:00 AM at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Hwy. So., Rochester, NY 14617.
