Obituary of Vincenzo Teresi
Vincenzo Teresi, age 79, passed away on March 18, 2026. Born in Termini Imerese, Sicily, Vincenzo carried his Italian roots with pride throughout his life before making his home in Rochester, New York.
Vincenzo served his country with honor as a member of the Carabinieri in Italy for ten years. His strength, discipline, and sense of duty were qualities that stayed with him throughout his life.
A man of deep faith, Vincenzo was devoted Catholic. He attended church regularly, found comfort in prayer, and held a special devotion to Saint Padre Pio. His faith was a guiding light in his life and brought him peace and strength.
He found great joy in the simple and meaningful things in life, such as tending to his garden, where he grew vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers with care and dedication. He also loved fishing, hunting, and was proudly known as a ping-pong champion. Vincenzo enjoyed watching soccer and was a devoted fan of Inter, rarely missing a match. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, who meant everything to him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Giuseppe and Agostina Teresi, and his two brothers, Salvatore Teresi and Salvatore Teresi II.
Vincenzo is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Teresi; his son, Joseph Teresi (Maia); his daughter, Deborah Teresi; and his cherished grandchildren, Vincent and Anna Teresi. Vincenzo leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, faith, and devotion to family that will live on in all who knew him. Vincenzo will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his strength, warmth, faith, and the love he gave so freely.
