I first met Roslyn in 2002 when I was the Activities Director at Brentland Woods Assisted Living in Henrietta. For more than twenty years I watched her bring joy, laughter, and music to residents in the facilities in which I worked. I will treasure the memory of her rendition of The Twelfth Street Rag!

I will always be grateful for the hours we spent in conversations about anything
and everything. We laughed, we sang, we cried, and we remembered together.
What a gift for me to get to know my big sister, at this time in our lives, in a way
that I did not know was possible. Our talks and our sharing are ingrained in my
mind and in my heart forever. I miss you, but I know we will be together again
with no more goodbyes. In the meantime, I’ll remember you singing, This
Little Light of Mine, I’m going to let it shine, let it shine Ro !!!
Love you always,
Marie

I always knew her as "Ro:! First born, she was "A Rose In A Basket", proudly spoke in Italian by her Parents and her aunts! She then to me became over the years, "Leader of the Band", She provided so many memories and enjoyment to so many audiences, friends and relatives. She could sit with Kings and Paupers, and always was warm, welcoming, kind, and full of wisdom. My best memories are from Seneca Pkwy, and of course the years of music she filled my heart with! Ro can sing her heart out now, Jackie at her side, May God shine his face upon you, and welcome you in his arms, until we meet again, FLY ME TO THE MOON!
