Rochester - age 91, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026.
Born on January 23, 1935, Mary Ann lived a life marked by quiet dedication, intellectual curiosity, and a deep love of books. She devoted her career to librarianship, where she took great pride in helping others discover the joy of reading and learning. 

Mary Ann was known for her gentle nature, thoughtful presence, and unwavering commitment to knowledge and community. Though she never married and had no children, she touched the lives of many through her work, friendships, and kindness. She will be remembered for her lifelong passion for literature and the meaningful connections she fostered throughout her years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Edmond D. and Sofia Barletta and her brother, Edmond D. Barletta, Jr., who is survived by his two children, her niece Diane Barletta and nephew Daniel Barletta.
