Obituary of Gerald Parisi

Gerald “Jerry” Parisi
Irondequoit: Passed away on May 19, 2026 at the age of 79. 
Predeceased by his wife, Saralyn (Ferra).
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Danene (Albert) DiSalvo, Gina Parisi, Jennifer (Joseph Spano) Parisi; grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph and Jenna DiSalvo, Gabriel Parisi; sister, Carolyn (Mark) Sutter; companion, Joann Harding and her children, Laura and Kristina and their families; nieces and nephews.

A proud Vietnam Veteran who honorably served in the United States Army, Jerry carried a deep sense of patriotism and strength throughout his life. He found his greatest peace in the Thousand Islands, where he loved spending time fishing and enjoying the beauty of the water. Jerry also enjoyed bowling and sharing laughs with his friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 29th at the Paul W. Harris Funeral Home from 4pm-7pm. Jerry's Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30th at 11am at St. Cecilia Church, 2732 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14622. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
