Words cannot express the heart ache of Dave’s passing. I went to see Dave less than a week before he passed. I knew he could hear me talking to him, and all he wanted to do was hold my hand. I will forever remember, holding his hand. Dave & Carolee were the coolest parents ever! We have very happy memories about many New Year’s Eve parties, etc. We will hold those happy memories very close to our heart, and remember Dave during the party times! The whole entire Morland family have been have been our friends for 35 years. They are like family to us. Rest in peace, my friend. I know you are watching over us, with Martini in hand! My heartfelt condolences. It was truly an honor and a blessing to care for David. Although I knew him for only a short time, it never takes long to recognize a beautiful soul. His smile, his wonderful sense of humor, his quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family left a lasting impression on my heart. As a caregiver, we meet many people, but every so often, someone reminds us why we chose this calling. He was one of those people. Caring for him was a privilege that I will always carry with me. My prayer is that God will surround your family with His love, comfort, and peace in the days ahead. May His promises give you strength, and may you find hope in knowing that D is now resting safely in His presence. "Well done, good and faithful servant..... Enter into the joy of your Lord."
