My thoughts and prayers are with you. Joann she was a beautiful person and the life of our weight watchers group. She could make a noise room go quiet just by saying " Good morning, Nancy". She would make you smile. She will be missed dearly

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Hoffmann's passing! She was always so kind when I was friends with Elizabeth...being a wonderful hostess whenever I was at her house and giving me rides home from school all the time. She was always so positive and caring and I remember she even tried to stay in touch with my Mom years later. Thoughts and prayers with your whole family as you navigate this tragic loss.

My dear, beloved friend, you fought a valiant fight; now may you have a pain free, peaceful rest. You will be sorely missed — you already are. When Elizabeth’s number flashed on my screen, I was immediately hit with a barrage of memories that began 50 years ago from a friendship that distance could never diminish. I hear your voice saying, “Hey, Lady” while “Alley Oop Oop” plays in the background. My heart breaks for Dave, Jonathan, Elizabeth, and the rest of the family. Your kindness and selflessness, smile and laughter, will remain in our lifelong memories. Rest in peace, lady!❤️

David,Jonathan,Elizabeth and families may happy memories give you peace and comfort during this difficult time. I have many happy memories working with Joanneee at Pikes Peak Elementary School, whether we did the commercials during the teacher talent show or singing on the “Purple Square “ we had fun. Outside school we stamped cards or going to Toby Keith concerts was always great fun being together. Joanneee was an awesome person and what a great laugh!, She was an amazing lady who so loved her family. Thoughts and prayers Elwhen(aka) Ellen Blakely

I knew Joanne from the Y exercise classes. She was very energetic and gave it her all. Whenever I got mixed up she would say "Just keep moving". She was an inspiration to many. When I got a new yellow lab puppy she insisted on being his God Mom. Blazar loved her and we kept her up on all his accomplishments. She will be remembered for her spunk and true grit. May she rest in peace. Allison Allmann

Joanne and I got close while we were working on the 1971 EHS 50th Reunion. She was the driving force and she and Joanne DeLorm were determined to make our 50th very special and they accomplished a successful reunion.
I will miss her and her strength. She did everything with love. I will sincerely miss her and her beautiful smile.
Rest in peace dear friend. You are in God's hands now. Love you, Jill Thomann

Our hearts are hurting for you, but we pray you find peace and comfort when you remember memories of your wife and mom.
Joannneee was my sweet friend. We were CO neighbors, card makers, Pikes Peak employees, USAF cadet sponsors, craft show shoppers, church goers, and supporters of each other especially when times got hard. I will fondly remember David and Joanne hiding a Bucky Badger for us, catching my hubby screaming at the Badger football team, taking in TSO concert together, helping us feed large groups of cadets, and so much more. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

Joanne and I weren’t close in HS, but once we found out they were living in CO only an hour away, we reconnected and our friendship grew. We made memories together when we would visit in Rochester. Those were special times staying with them especially for the reunions! Joanne and I promised our 1971 50th reunion was going to be better than the 1969 one, and it definitely was! Love you sweet friend, you are free of pain and at peace with God. Will miss you! Thank you David for always being her strength!

I can't believe I'm having to write this about my dear friend Joanne. I have known Joanne since 9th grade and had reconnected on Facebook in 2009. She was one of a kind and there will be no one else like her. Joanne was the sweetest, kindest, most generous person I have ever known. Whenever I went back to Rochester to visit family she and other friends would always make a point to set up a breakfast or lunch. We would laugh and tell stories. God Bless you David for being her support these years. I love you Joanne.
