Kim A. Hoover

Penfield, NY - After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Kim was called home on July 16, 2026. 

Born in Rochester on November 15, 1958. Kim graduated from John Marshall High School in 1976.  Kim was an avid baker, seamstress, dancer and crafter.  In her spare time, she could be found baking her famous Christmas cookies, creating her latest Halloween or belly dance costume, or simply making memories with the many people she loved.
Predeceased by her parents, Richard and Alice Hoover; brothers, William Frank, Jr and Dean Hoover; and sister, Audrey Makowski.  Kim is survived by her sister, Kyle Hoover Lamb; brother, John (Gayle) Hoover; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Family and friends may call at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Hwy South, Rochester, NY 14617, Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Webster Comfort Care Home, whom in Kim’s final months gave compassionate and dignified care to both Kim and her entire family.
