I'm. so sorry I just stumbled on to this today. I knew her husband Louis well, having had cases with him over the years and having served as the family's paperboy in the 60's. I met June with Lou at many RPO concerts. Additionally, I had a warm relationship with her brother Eugene when I served on the Board of the RPO. Last but not least, I believe Ella Bennett Sherman was her great grandmother. I have always been a great admirer of her paintings and have a stunning watercolor of a seascape that she painted, I believe in the early 20's, framed in my music room. Again, my condolences to this wonderful family.
