Obituary of Joanne W. Rhoton

Joanne Rhoton passed away on the 8th of August, 2026.

She was born and lived in Rochester all her life, was a dedicated mother, and a devoted friend. She graduated from Irondequoit High School and University of Buffalo and worked at Kodak and Thomson Reuters. She will have a private, green burial at White Haven, where a marker will be placed to those who wish to visit her. 

In lieu of flowers, we encourage anyone to donate to the ASPCA, the World Wildlife Fund, or the Audubon Society, which Joanne supported in life. This would be a fitting tribute to her life as she loved and cared for animals both domestic and wild.
