Nina Krasnokutska
Fairport – Peacefully on August 17, 2026 at age 91. Nina is survived by her daughter, Irena (Robert Bulger) Hilbert; sister, Ludmila Yarovaya; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

My mom loved her books. She had a huge collection in Ukraine and brought many of them with her to the United States. Even dementia could not take away her love of reading and learning. She could spend hours looking through her books, finding comfort and joy in their pages.
 

She was also a beloved patient at Rochester General Hospital last year. Everyone there loved her. She touched so many hearts that some of the nurses were crying when she was discharged. That says so much about the kind, warm, and special person she was.
 

Mom had a gift for finding beauty in the world around her. She loved big, majestic trees and would often stop and say, "Look at this gorgeous tree, it's beautiful." She could sit for hours looking at the sky and clouds, telling me what shapes she saw and marveling at their beauty.

I miss you so much already, Mom. Thank you for the love, wisdom, kindness, and memories you gave me. You will always be in my heart, and I will think of you every time I see a beautiful tree, look up at the clouds, or open a favorite book.
 

Rest peacefully, Mom. You are loved beyond words and will never be forgotten.
