Sandy Doran

Irondequoit – On August 19, 2026 at age 85. She is predeceased by her parents, Harry and Norma Caswell; brothers, Daniel Caswell and twin brother, James Caswell. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bill Doran; children, Ann Doran, Tim (Jo-Anne) Doran, Kevin (Jackie) Doran and Karen (Stephen) Palleschi; grandchildren, Brianna Doran, Ian Doran, Erin (Nick) Hennemann, Danny Doran, Nicholas Doran, Emily Palleschi and Matthew Palleschi; great-granddaughter, Francis Hennemann; brother, Chris (Barb) Caswell; sister-in-law, Nancy Caswell; many nieces, nephews, cousins and eternal friends.

She loved John Denver music, reading mystery novels or Jimmy Carter books, poetry, writing her daily journals during covid for her grandkids’ legacies, her frog (not the real kind) collection, Wordle & NY Times crosswords, the Weather Channel, "Wine Time", her volunteer work, dark chocolate and of course all things yellow.

Family and friends may call at Paul W. Harris Funeral Home, 570 Kings Hwy South, Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Sandy's Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10:00 AM at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church, 401 Rogers Parkway, Rochester, NY 14617. Interment to follow at Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Sandy's memory.
