Obituary of Frank J. Povoski

Povoski, Sr., Frank J. Irondequoit: Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 87. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Anne (Yastremski); daughters, Rosemarie Sprague, Patricia Taylor, Sheila(William) Povoski-Butler; sons, Frank Jr., & Dr. Stephen(Kelly) Povoski; grandchildren, Justin(Leighann), Leigh Anne, Sara Taylor, David(Farah) Butler, Spencer Povoski; great grandchildren, Payton, Erich, Alina; sister, Mary Woodruff; sister-in-law, Helen Kilbury. Frank was a WWII Army Veteran who served in 5 campaigns. He retired from Kodak after 42 years of service. Frank has an avid love for fishing & he deeply loved his family. Frank was a skilled handyman able to build and fix anything for his family and friends. He also was a volunteer Fireman at Pt. Pleasant Fire Deparment. In October 2009 Frank was selected to visit the WWII Memorial in Wash, D.C. on the "Honor Flight." Please consider donations to Honor Flight Rochester, PO Box 23581, Roch, NY 14692. His family will receive friends SUNDAY 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South).
