Obituary of Janice Meinhart Giangiobbe

Irondequoit: April 6, 2011 at 82 years of age after a courageous battle with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Predeceased by her son, Peter and parents M. Grace and Edward Meinhart. Mrs. Giangiobbe is survived by her husband of 57 years, Frank Giangiobbe; daughter, Ann (Douglas) Cole; grandchildren, Olivia and Spencer Cole; cousins, Muryal Braun of Lodi, CA and Nancy (Charles) Alliet of Prattsburg, NY. A graduate of Monroe High, SUNY Brockport, and Penn State, Jan taught Kindergarten in the Rochester City School District for 40 years. She was a bird enthusiast, game player and world traveler. She served on The Women's Council. No prior calling hours. Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY April 11th, 10:00 AM at TRANSFIGURATION LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3760 Culver Road, for her memorial service, reception afterwards. Private Inurnment.
