Obituary of Daria N Lesiv

Lesiv, Daria Rochester: Thursday, December 3, 2015, age 90. She is predeceased by her brother and sister in Ukraine. Survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Michael Lesiv; her sons, Peter (Ulana) and Roman (Kathy); grandchildren, Stephen, Matthew, Porter, Michael and Ethan; cousins, nieces and their families in Ukraine. Daria was born in Korovnyky, Ukraine, met and married Michael in a post war displaced person camp. They lived for a period in Coventry, England where Daria was active in the Ukrainian Youth Association of Britain. They settled in Rochester, where she raised her children and was active in the local Ukrainian community, including the Ukrainian Women's Auxiliary. Her family will receive friends Sunday 12:00pm - 2:00pm at the funeral home. Panachyda 12:15pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:00 am at Ukrainian Catholic Church of Epiphany for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
