Babiuk, Myron John Rochester: Monday, January 18, 2016 at age 81. Predeceased by his parents Maria and Mykola, brother Orest, he is survived by Tania, his loving wife of 60 years, daughters Nadia (Gerry) Bolalek, Julie (Kevin) Flaherty and son Andy (Monica); grandchildren Jason, Alex, Larissa, Elizabeth, Victoria, Catherine, Andrew, Laura, Johnathan; beloved Babiuk family; Natalia, sister Christina (Jake) Czechowicz, brother Greg (Tania), sister-in-law June and cousin Myron (Ulana) along with many other loving family members and cherished friends. Myron was most passionate about his family, his Ukrainian heritage, his church and community as well as the choirs he sang in all his life and soccer. He also proudly served in the US Army. Heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Baird Nursing Home who cared for him, especially Elizabeth and Linda. His family will receive friends Wednesday (January 27th) 3-6pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Panachyda 6pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church for his funeral Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
