Diaczenko, Stephanie Irondequoit: Unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the age of 69. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Roman R.; son, Roman (Chrissy) and their children, Caitlin & Jacob; son, Alexander (Ashley Darvill); sisters, Irene Surowy, Mary (Bohdan) Matyjczuk & Eve (Walter) Monoenko; sisters-in-law, Geri Lessig & Clara (Ken) Laster; many nieces & nephews. Stephanie was a vibrant lady. She loved her grandchildren with all of her life. Stephanie had a beautiful personality and you would want to get to know her right away. She was a proud Ukrainian who belonged to many different organizations in Youngstown, Ohio. Stephanie had a passion for the Christmas season. Her home was filled with many decorations during Easter & Thanksgiving as well. She loved crocheting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She will truly be missed forever. Her family will receive friends Sunday 1-4pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Panachyda 3:30pm. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:00am at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church for her Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
