Mockevicius, Frank E. Irondequoit: Friday, April 21, 2017 at the age of 87. Predeceased by his brothers, Rev. Charles Mockevicius & Rev. Dominic Mockevicius, Bernard Mockevicius; and sister, Elinore Yanaitis; niece, Mary Ellen Frisch. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy (Jones) Mockevicius; nephews, Charles (Renee) Yanaitis & Robert (Sharon) Yanaitis; sister in law, Linda (Tom) Beveridge; grand nephews, grand nieces & great grand nephews and nieces. Frank was a Chemistry Teacher at Ben Franklin High School for 30 years. He was an active member at St. George Roman Catholic Lithuanian Church. Frank served as President of his Parish Council for many years, Chairman of the Thanksgiving Bazaar and President of The Holy Name Society. He was also involved with the D.P.C. (Diocesan Parish Council) and the North Region Parish Council. He was Vice President of The Nocturnal Adoration Society and he made 47 retreats to the Notre Dame Retreat House. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at RGH & The Leo Center who cared for Frank. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church for his funeral mass (150 Varinna Dr.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
