Boehler, Josephine A. (Manz) Rochester: Peacefully on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the age of 102. Pre-deceased by her husband, Leo C. Boehler; brothers, Joseph (Margaret) Manz, Frank Manz; sisters, Barbara, Mary & Pauline Manz, Rose (Carlton) Hodge; close friend, Marion Cullen. She is survived by her loving & devoted son, James R. Boehler Esq.; nephew, Robert (Peggy) Manz; great nephew, Robert (Jacquline) Manz; as well as many other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Joan was a devoted fan of the Rochester Red Wings and The Lawrence Welk Show. She also was a devout Catholic and will be remembered for her love of flowers, gardening and the Christmas season. Her family will receive friends Tuesday 4-8pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S.) Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 11:00am at Holy Cross Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to McQuaid Jesuit Memorial Gifts, 1800 S. Clinton Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 or Salvation Army, P.O.Box 148, Syracuse, NY 13206.
