West Irondequoit: Passed away peacefully with family at his side on Monday, April 2, 2018 at the age of 68. He is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Nancy (Travis); children, Thad (Betsy) Tellier, Lisa (Keith) McMahon & Adam “Bum” (Pam) Tellier; grandchildren, Leo & Owen Tellier, Thaddeus McMahon, Riley, Kennedi, Samuel & Charles Tellier; sisters, Joan (Tom) Williams, MaryClare (Tom) Ekiert; sisters-in-law, Carey (Frank Luebbe) Travis, Martha (Bill) Hanley, MaryLynn (Jerry) Sturnick, Sarah (Mark) Sennett, Susan Travis & Elizabeth (Dave) Simpson; cousins, MaryAnne Timmins & Fran (Larry) Paige; many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews.

 

Mark was a lifelong resident of West Irondequoit and devout parishioner and graduate of St. Thomas the Apostle. He served as a Navy Corpsman (1968-1972) and then had a 34 year career with Eastman Kodak. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Roberts Wesleyan College. Mark was a leader in faith for his family and friends. He had an engaging personality. Mark’s family and friends especially enjoyed the wisdom he happily shared about religion, history, golf and politics.

No prior calling hours.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday, April 14th at 9:30am at St. Kateri at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 4536 St. Paul Blvd. Inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Mark’s life following his services.   Memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
