A love story on Belmeade Road: In 1954 a young couple, Bob and Eleanor, bought a home on a pleasant suburban street. It was close to their office, they both worked at Kodak. They planted roses and traveled. They never had any children, but they had each other....always together. Shortly after the ice storm of 1991 Eleanor couldn't care for Bob at home any longer, but still she was a fixture at...the nursing home with Bob each day. We celebrated Eleanor's 90th birthday just last week. Peacefully, last night Eleanor joined Bob in a better place. Bob and Eleanor had been my neighbors since I was 8 years old and Eleanor still plays cards with my Mom, Johanna DeLelys Schwartz, every week. We'll miss you terribly, but will find peace knowing that you and Bob are reunited in a place without the worries and troubles of this world.
