Obituary of Merlin F Blakley

Blakley, Merlin F. "Blake" Irondequoit: Passed away suddenly on Friday, September 28, 2012 at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by his wife Ruth and his brother-in-law, Wilfred Shepler. Mr. Blakley is survived by his children, Robert (Julie) Blakley, Patricia (Daniel Cordaro) Blakley, Barbara (Jeffrey) Nardoci; grandchildren, John (Clarissa) Blakley, Benjamin (Sandi) Blakley, Patrick Corey, Christopher Corey, Jason Heberger, Lindsay (Timothy Crumb) Heberger, Aaron Heberger, Michael and Mathew Nardoci, great grandchildren, Gabriella, Jonathan, Josiah and Harper Blakley, sister, Arlene Shepler. Blake retired from the Eastman Kodak Co. after 42 years of dedicated service, was a WWII Navy Veteran, a HAM Radio Operator "KC2NU", a member of NCT Genesee Valley Chapter and a Master Mason of the F&ME Lodge #722. His family will receive friends Wednesday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held Thursday 10:00 AM. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
