Scanlon, Eloise Shirley
Irondequoit: Monday, December 3, 2012 at age 80. Pre-deceased by her parents; Herman and Emma Scanlon and her aunt; Valda Ward. Miss Scanlon is survived by her close friend; Sara Smith, also several adopted nieces and nephews. Miss Scanlon was a school teacher in the Rochester School District for 34 years and a member of the N.Y.S. Teachers Assoc. She graduated from Potsdam State Teachers College in 1954 and received her Masters Degree several years later. Miss Scanlon was a long time member of St. Kateri @ Christ the King Church.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday January 12, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church. Memorials may be directed to St. Kateri at Christ the King School 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester, NY 14617.
