Moore, Ann Lois
Irondequoit: Monday, December 24, 2012 at the age of 87. Pre-deceased by her husband, John; parents, Ida & Luigi. She is survived by her son, John(Sue) Moore; daughters, Lydia(Lothar) Schlesiger, Annelle(David) Coleman; grandchildren, Kristen(Todd) Zimmerman, Douglas(Staci) Moore, Monika(Edward) Robertson, Marianne(Brett) Resseguie, Robert(June) Schlesiger - Lee, Therese(Jason) Hans, Krista(Matthew) Schlesiger, John(Laura) Coleman, Caitlin(Kevin) Coleman; 15 1/2 great grandchildren; sister, Louise Blasko; many nieces and nephews.
Ann's husband, John was in the Army and they moved around a lot and traveled the world. Ann was an entrepreneur who owned 2 restaurants in Watertown, NY. After retirement she volunteered at RGH. She was fiercely independent and lived her life on her terms. One of Ann's favorite sayings was "There is no such word as can't."
Her family will receive friends FRIDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 11:00am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church for her funeral mass. Interment Monday 9:00am at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY.
