Obituary of Tommasina Pellegrini

Pellegrini, Tommasina Irondequoit: Tommasina Pellegrini passed away peacefully in her sleep in the late evening hours on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the age of 88. She is predeceased by her husband Silvio and by her son-in-law Anthony A. Piccirillo. Survived by her daughter, Vera Piccirillo of Rochester, NY; grandchildren, Anthony(Jeanine) Piccirillo of Charlotte, NC, Lea(Gil) Morelle of Tampa, FL; great grandchilden, Anthony and Samantha Piccirillo, Alexa, Ava, Colin Morelle; niece, Lolanda(Domenico) Gabriele; sisters-in law, Josephine Pellegrini, Angela Bullo; brother-in-law, Augostino Pellegrini; several nieces and nephews in Rochester and Italy. Tommasina was born on June 22, 1920 in Anitrella, Italy and emigrated to the U.S. in 1955 where she settled in Rochester, NY with her husband and daughter. She worked as a seamstress at Bonds Clothing Factory for 24 years. She was a proud and wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her family. What "Grandma Dolly" enjoyed most was spending time with her great grandchildren. She has joined her loving husband Silvio in God's blessed and eternal kingdom, and is missed deeply with heavy hearts by her family. Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 2-6 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 9:30 AM at CHRIST THE KING CHURCH for her funeral mass. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park.
