Obituary of Mary M. Fogler

Irondequoit: Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Pre-deceased by her husband Henry H. Fogler; daughter-in-law, Karla Fogler; sisters, Dorothy Moynihan, Julia (Robert) Awe; and brother, Cornelius (Marge) Moynihan. Mary is survived by her children, John (Kathy) Fogler, Helen Fogler, Jane (Ernest L. III) Quackenbush, Neil Fogler, Molly (Mary Wagner) Fogler and Sarah (Beth Parker) Fogler; her grandchildren, Amber Fogler, Mary (Matthew) Andrews, Christopher (Ellen) Austin, Amy (Joshua) Conner, Ernest L. (Courtney Jacobs) Quackenbush IV, Krystal (Frank) Lavigueur, Emily (Joshua Robinson) Austin, Parker Fogler and Calvin Fogler; her great-grandchildren, Maxwell & Mason Andrews, Mary Kate & Kevin Austin, Adam & Allison Conner, Ernest L. Quackenbush V, Brynn & Bixby Lavigueur; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, John Fogler, Martha (Donald) Hobbs and Sara Fogler; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Born October 3, 1921 in East Millinocket, Maine, Mary graduated from Madison (Maine) High School in 1939 and from the University of Maine in 1943 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, a volunteer with Meals on Wheels, a member of the Rochester Museum and Science Center Women's Council and a member of the Bursar's Group. Friends are invited to meet the family Monday December 31, 9:30 am at Holy Cross Church for her memorial mass. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations to the Henry H. "43" & Mary Moynihan Fogler "43" Scholarship, University of Maine Foundation, Two Alumni Place, Orono, Maine 04469-5792.
