Obituary of James R. Hausknecht

Hausknecht, James R. Irondequoit: Monday, January 14, 2013 at the age of 66. Predeceased by his father Herbert. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 43 wonderful years, Sharon, children, Jason(Catherine) Hausknecht, Jill(Joel) Fisher and Matthew(Jessica) Hausknecht, beloved Papa to Alexandra and Dylan Freedman, Gunnar Hausknecht, Charlotte, Jenna and Grace Fisher and Nola Hausknecht, his mother, Gloria, sisters, Gloria Jean Ross, Charleen(Kenny) O'Keefe and Kimberly(Tom Snape) Cleere, brother, Paul(Farah) Hausknecht, aunt, Rosemary Muerb, many nieces, nephews and close friends. Jim served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard and retired from Harris Corporation after 32 dedicated years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his vacation home on Fourth Lake in the Adirondacks. His family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South), where his funeral service will be held Friday 10:00 am. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the St. Paul Blvd. Fire Association, 433 Cooper Road, Rochester, NY 14617.
