Obituary of Peter J. Pizzo

Pizzo, Peter Joseph Irondequoit: Friday, January 25, 2013 at age 82. Pre-deceased by his wife; Emma Lungo Pizzo, Peter is survived by 2 sons; Frank J. & John C. (Rhonda), his daughter; Margaret (Rob) Blunt, 2 granddaughters; Katie & Julianne Blunt, long time friend and companion; Patricia Wojtan of Williamsville, N.Y., his brother; John (Mary) Pizzo, his sister; Jean (George) Lembaris and also several nieces and nephews. Peter taught High School in the Rochester City School District for over 30 years. His family will receive friends MONDAY 3:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 10:00 AM at ST. KATERI AT ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE CHURCH for his funeral mass. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations to Rochester General Hospital Cardiothorasic Intensive Care Unit in Peter's memory.
