Jean was a very special person. At the National Technical Institute for the Deaf she devoted herself to reaching out to students, parents, faculty and staff across the United States. Jean connected with everyone she met. She was truly a friend and close colleague to myself and my family. Jean will be missed. I consider it a privilege and honor to have known and worked with Jean. My condolences go out to Jean's loving family. I will keep Jean and her family in my thoughts and prayers.
