Surrounded by his loving family, his wife Jean of 57years, 3 children Patricia (Robert) Aman, James (Michele) Doherty, Joanne (Frank) Sapienza, grandchildren Matthew, Martha Aman, Ryan, Adam, Jacob Doherty, Laura, Elizabeth, Sapienza. 2 sisters Alma Mc Derment, Joyce Boddy.
Dick was a long time member of Christ the King Church since 1956, self-employed carpenter since 1957, member of the Newport Yacht Club and the Irondequoit Bay Ice Boat Club.
His family will receive friends FRIDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 11:00 AM at ST. KATERI AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Ridge-Culver Fire Association, 2960 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622-9981 or Irondequoit Volunteer Ambulance, 2330 Norton Street, Rochester, NY 14609.
