Dear Aunt Mary, I am thousands of miles away, yet I am still in your basement, hiding, smoking those Marlboros I pinched from Uncle Walter. And you knew I was down there, and you knew what I was doing and you never ratted me out. Every time we came there, it was the same routine. And on my final visit, you gave me a flannel red road coat, which by the way I used on my first hitch hike trip to ThunderBay for Debbie's wedding. It had my favourite kind of pockets, 2 on the chest, and slit pockets on the side. I will never forget these things, they are footprints on my soul. Thank you. Rod

What can be said about the loss of a wonderful, loving Auntie - one who taught you to sew, one who let you climb up on a stool in her restaurant and make you french fries, one who proudly introduced you to her friends and one who had you as flower girl when you had never been lucky enough to be in a wedding party before and then, lovingly made your dress for the occasion. I have so, so many happy memories of my dear Auntie - she closed every telephone conversation with saying "I love you honey".... we will certainly all feel her loss deeply but she deserves her rest. She was a first class mother, wife, sister, Auntie and friend.... Rest in Peace Auntie Mary.
