Pankiw, Wasyl
Rochester: Monday, April 6, 2009 at the age of 85. Predeceased by his brother, Peter. Wasyl is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Anna; sons, Peter, Donald(Lisa); grandchildren, Beth, Bryan, Peter, Christina and Donny; great-grandchildren, Justin, Abigail and Hannah; sisters, Perynka Serwetnyk and Anna Svereda in Ukraine; sisters-in law, Stephanie Snizenko, Marie(Richard) Farace, Olga Ross; brother-in-law, Peter(Ann) Iwasiw; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Retired for twenty years he was a hard-working caring man who loved his family and enjoyed gardening and helping others.
His family will receive friends FRIDAY 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00 AM at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Panachyda 6:30pm.
