Shiurila, John
Mansfield, MASS: Sunday, March 31, 2013 at the age of 80. A native of Lithuania, John served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War where he was stationed in the Philippines and was cleared for many "Top Secret" assignments. After earning a degree from R.I.T. he worked as a mechanical engineer for many years. During his time, his knack for inventing led him to receive an impressive eleven patents in his name. John was the loving husband of Eleonora-Aldona Navickas; loving step father of 4; brother of Fene & Ona of Canada and an uncle of many nieces and nephews in Canada & Lithuania.
His family will receive friends THURSDAY 9:00am - 10:30am at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy S). His funeral mass will follow at 11:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church (150 Varinna Dr. 14618) Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
