Szatkowski, Theodore J. "Ted the Barber" Ted's Cooper Road Barber Shop Irondequoit: Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents, Helen & Ted Szatkowski; brother, Robert, and brother-in-law, Albert Levy. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce; children, Denice(Garry) Hapeman, Kevin(Julie), Michelle(Gladys) Szatkowski-Marion, Scott, Renee(Jeremy) Barrett, Michael(Lynn); grandchildren, Jamilyn, Kameron & Kaitlyn Szatkowski, Joshua, Andrea & Mitchell Szatkowski, Brittany, Kevin, Andrew & Cassandra Dill, Jeremy & Nathaniel Szatkowski; great grandson, Joshua Tyler Vick; sister, Lila Levy; brother, Leon "Joe" Szatkowski; The Levy family nieces & nephews, Ed, Jamie, Kim & Tammy; special niece Sabrina, and so many other beloved nieces & nephews, and long-time family friend, Marie Long, who was like a daughter. Ted was a Korean War Army Veteran, former proprietor of Ted's Exxon, and lifelong member of the Elks Club. Many, many thanks to Cardiac Unit 5200 at RGH for their loving care and compassion. His family will receive friends FRIDAY 4:00 - 9:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:00am at St. Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for his funeral mass. Interment Private.
