Obituary of Karen M. Struczewski

Rochester: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at age 57. Mrs. Struczewski is survived by her husband of 30 years; Timothy G. Struczewski, her daughter; Kelsey (Kelseybelle), her son; Bryan (Bobo) , mother; Beatrice Polizzi , twin sisters; Patty (Pat) Cupo of Az., Pamela (Ron) Paxton of Fla. brother; Mark Polizzi , several nieces, nephews and her furry friends Yogi and Casey; also her many close and loving friends. Employed previously by Kodak for over 20 years, she has been employed by Excellus/Blue Cross Blue Shield. Karen had been a Girl Scout Leader for over 10 years, Eastridge High School Alumni Reunion Coordinator Class of 1974 and a member of Bishop Kearney Parents Assoc. Karen enjoyed gardening and camping with her family. The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Strong Memorial and Rochester General Cancer Centers for their outstanding support and loving care. Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 1-3pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 9:30 AM at ST. KATERI AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH for her memorial mass. Interment private. Memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society Lakes Region, 1120 S. Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620 or the Education Fund for Kelsey.
