My prayers are with the entire Coyle family and close friends who had the privilege of knowing Mike Coyle. I have personally known Mike since we began racing our bikes together. I remember the first day he came out with his brothers Chuck’s white bike. He loved that bike since it came from a special person in his life, and someone he looked up to. Throughout the years we became cycling friends and always made each other suffer as we pressed on with a common goal. Basically we were out to inflict as much pain as possible and finish the race strong. I am thankful that Mike Coyle chose to spend a portion of his time over the years with our cycling group. To me he made a difference on and off the bike. He made me look forward to each week because I knew that Mike was ready to dual. It is hard to explain but since we have suffered together on the bike a special bond was created over time. To the parents of Mike, I am proud to know your son and will never forget him. Kristin I pray for you and your children that all your future needs are provided. God Bless.

I worked with Mike at Buck Consultants many years ago in the NJ office. While it's been over ten years since we've been in touch, I'm heart stricken. To this day, he is one of the most genuine individuals I've ever met. His family and friends are especially in my thoughts and prayers. May his spirit be with you always.

Although I only met Michael once I can catch a glimpse of how great a man he was by the reflection he left in the lives of those around him that I care about. Caring, creative, driven and funny are a few of the adjectives that seem to describe the personality of Michael Coyle, though I'm sure they are far from doing him justice. My wife have continued to pray for you all and we are so sorry for your loss of this amazing - Son, Husband, Brother, Uncle, Friend. I'm at a loss for words. I apologize in advance if it seems like this is rambling...
I also had the pleasure of working with Mike a few years ago with Mike at Buck, and I have stayed in touch with him through the years.
Years ago, we'd ocassionally talk about running in races. I'd often say, "I'd love to do it, but I don't if I could ever run a long distance race." His response was simply, "Why not?" I never had a good answer for him. Last year when I ran an organized 10-Miler for the first time, he was REALLY supportive and congratulating. And I appreciated that.
I appreciated everything about him whether it be his drive for success, his family values or his overall kind demeanor. He will be an inspiration to me in every race I ever run in from this point forward.
To the Coyle and Insalaco families, you are in my thoughts now, and always.

It was 10 years ago that we first encountered you and Michael during the Marriage Prep process at the Diocese. We knew then you were a special couple. We would see you at Christ the King or I'd see Michael as he passed me by in numerous road races over the years (usually pushing a stroller). Each time we encountered you, would give thanks to both of you and your family. How tragic it was for us to hear of this news and how grief stricken we feel for you, your girls and all who knew Michael. What a loss for this world and so much more for you. We know words won't heal anything right now, but please know you and your family have remained in our thoughts and prayers and will continue to be held there as the days wear on. In fact, every time i ride my bike, I give a shout out to Michael and thank God for the brief time our paths crossed int his world.

To Kristin, Georgia, Fiona, and family -
Like many others on the side of the road that day that stopped to help I never had the chance to meet Michael until then. Even so, his spirit touched all of us in a way that I still can’t describe in words. He was no different than the rest of us doing what he enjoyed so much, something many others don’t understand. We knew he was there that day because of a family that supported his countless hours of training and encouraged him to cross that finish line every time. We knew there were family and friends waiting to see him finish one more time. I am 39 with two small children and a supportive wife of my own and I know the sacrifices they make. In my profession I see death and tragedy almost everyday, but I have never been so impacted by such a loss. So many of us can sympathize with you, please know that you are not alone in your grief and overwhelming sadness of this tragic loss. You will always be in my thoughts.

I've only known Mike for 7 months, since I joined Buck Consultants and was given the privilege to have him as my direct reporting manager. In the past 7 months, I have learned an extraordinary amount of valuable information from Mike and saw him as a role model for my progression in this company. He was a profound individual to work with and I greatly enjoyed being a part of his team.

Mike's sudden departure has already left a tremendous hole in my heart. There are very few people who can be described as not having a mean bone in their body. I never have known Mike to lose his cool. He was always polite to everyone, no matter the circumstance. I think that is what made him such a loved individual. A model for all of us. We all loved to watch how much he loved his family. Especially, his Mike "Spielberg" Coyle videos of his family. Mike Coyle "A man for all seasons!"
