Obituary of Margaret Degnan Stolze

Stolze, Margaret Degnan Rochester. Died peacefully, Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at the age of 83. Pre-deceased by her husband of 58 years William J. Stolze and her sister Catherine Scharoun. Mrs. Stolze is survived by her children, Joan Waranoff, Margaret (Arthur) Bernstein, Katherine (Paul) Luskey, William T. Stolze, Robert (Julie) Stolze and Daniel (Kim) Stolze. Also survived by her grandchildren, Katherine and Andrew Waranoff; Brett and Jeffrey Bernstein; Philip, Nancy and David Stolze; Elizabeth and Katherine Stolze , sisters, Mary Degnan, Nancy (Eric) Waxman and Joan Driscoll, brother, Robert(Theresa) Degnan, many other relatives and friends. Margaret was a loving mother and caretaker, a talented artist and writer, an accomplished Bridge player and an avid sailor and golfer. Her family will receive friends Thursday 3-7pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church for her funeral mass.
