Irondequoit: October 28, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Angelina (Proia) Gangemi; children, Joseph, Salvatore, Michael (Yvonne) and Maryanne; grandchildren, Joseph. Rebecca, Michael J., Rachael, Heather; sister, Phyllis Cioppa; brother, Angelo (Deborah) Gangemi of Hamburg,N,Y.; nieces & nephews and cousins. Joe was a detective with the Rochester Police Dept. where he served for 27 years and a US Army Veteran.
His family will receive friends FRIDAY 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:30 AM at ST. KATERI AT ST.
