Irondequoit: Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the age of 69 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born to the late Joseph & Maude Maslanka December 26, 1943 in Rochester, NY. " Just for today I will be kind to everyone I meet" is how Diane lived. She was passionate about making a difference in the lives of people she met, touching everyone with her selflessness and willingness to serve. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother & sister, taking great joy in supporting their lives. She loved sports, reading, Sudoku puzzels, her beloved dogs, Gypsy & Jack, and a great cup of coffee every morning.
She is survived by her children, Chris(Kelley) Brown, Kathy(Mike) Masino, Laurie Brown, Joe(Nikki) Brown;
grandchildren, Maddie & Katie Brown, Joe, Carlie & Dan Masino, Janie & Kevin Udicious, Sammie, Gracie & Gabbie Brown; sister, Barbara(Russ) Terhaar; many dear friends whose continued support over the years is immeasurable. She loved you all dearly.
Her family will receive friends MONDAY 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 9:30am at SPIRITUS CHRISTI CHURCH (121 N. Fitzhugh St) for her memorial service. Interment Holy Sepuclhre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to www.cmtausa.org.
