Obituary of Daniel H Black

Black, Daniel H. Irondequoit: Surrounded by his wife and daughters, Dan passed away peacefully Nov. 19 at age 76. A kind, gentle, loving man of compassion and integrity, he inspired and touched the lives of many. Dan owned Black's Automotive before a long career at IBM. He loved spending time with family and friends, classic cars, jazz, fine dining and a good cigar. He is survived by Marian, his devoted wife of 54 years, daughters Carla (Bill) Kraemer, Lorraine (Nathan Lubba) Morreale, Linda (Bruce) Soppe and Karen (Chris Muller) Black; brother Rick (Charlotte) Black and grandchildren Anthony Morreale, Daniel (Amanda) Morreale, David Morreale, Kyle Soppe, Kurt Soppe, Keri Soppe, Jesse Palermo, Caleb Muller, Deryk (Charina) Kraemer, and great grandchild Lily Kraemer; In laws Carol and Charlie Smith, Ella and Larry Schmidt, Bob and Sue Saucke, and Ray and Mary Saucke, close friend Steve Yaeger, many nieces and nephews and loving dog Max. Friends may call at the funeral home FRIDAY 5:00-7:00 PM. Memorial service and reception immediately following.
