DeLelys, Robert W.
Irondequoit: Passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at the age of 93. Robert is predeceased by a son, Robert and a daughter, Donna; survived by his wife, Lena DeLelys; children, William T. (Chung Oak) DeLelys, Beverly (Jerry) Dolson, James (Linda) DeLelys,
6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; sister, Dorothy Howley; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Robert was a mechanical engineer having received his degree from the University of Rochester, Phi Beta Kappa. His hobbies included piloting his own personal planes, hunting, fishing and motorcycling. In later years he was a gentleman farmer and an avid Florida Keys fisherman. Robert was a member of the American Legion of Webster.
His family will receive friends MONDAY 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 11:00 AM at ST. ANNS CHAPEL, 1550 Portland Ave., for his funeral mass. There will be a private interment at Springbrook Cemetery.
